WOODMANCOTE RETRO is a furniture design company based within the Stroud Valleys in Gloucestershire. We are passionate about designing and creating beautiful, functional, simple and timeless furniture.
At Woodmancote we produce tubular steel furniture that is unique and rooted in mid-century design. We live by the 10 principles of the industrial designer Dieter Rams including sustainability, simplicity and versatility.
We source and salvage beautiful, high-quality and local sustainable wood and recycled plastics for our furniture. With designs made to last and our choice of materials, we are consciously supporting the reduction landfill and waste.
Our ethos also is a commitment to supporting the local and circular economy. We collaborate with like-minded suppliers and makers within a 70-mile radius, to produce high-quality furniture that you will not find on the high street.
Our beliefs are why we started doing what we do - and we have never looked back.
